I owe the list an update on Monika's condition-- and our thanks, because her condition is pretty good, all things considered. Yes, there's pain and discomfort, but none of the horrible medical issues that we were at "high risk" for have yet to manifest. The gods are kind. Going into the third trimester, mother and child both appear healthy enough our midwife sees no need for any further ultrasounds, tests, or scans. Gods willing if nothing goes wrong, we're clear until the birth in mid-to-late August. Having gotten this far without serious complication, we could not help but name the babe. Her name is Isabelle, and I hope you will still pray for her and Monika. Monika's intution has her very worried about the birth.)
