I don't know if anyone saw that and sent off a quick prayer, or perhaps our own prayers were enough-- but she has pooped! That puts us off the 'possible abdominal surgery' track and keeps us on the 'stomach massage and probiotic' track. I never thought I'd be so thrilled to change a poopy diaper.

Colic is no fun for anybody, though, so I'd be very happy if you kept that part of the prayer. If I may suggest a wording,
"May Tyler and Monika's newborn baby Isabelle, whose bowels were not moving properly at birth, be blessed with a well functioning digestive tract and be free of colic going forward."

I'd say I'm sorry for asking for another edit, but I'm really too happy with the circumstances for that to be sincere. ;)
