I echo SDI's offer. Very glad you have found a way to make progress. I can relate very well, especially when you say you worry that you would end up writing a novel of everything going on. That often stops me in my tracks too. There's not enough time to say everything I want to say (not to mention the time to edit is back to something the target will have time to read), so I wind up not saying anything for far too long.
I can report progress myself. Everyone's prayers really are helpful. What I need more than anything else is time alone trekking through a wilderness with my journal. Every time we go hiking, I get inspired, but then we come home and I get bogged down again. Also, I used to get my news from a small selection of blogs with articles. When the Saker closed his blog, I found most of his sources on YouTube, but it is clear how that platform tries to hook viewers. JMG is lucky he doesn't like video to begin with. I'll have to make rules for limiting my time there. I also found some excellent advice (ironically on YouTube): an imperfect response is far better than no response. I tell my respondees that too, saying I wish I had more time.
It is not the season for a prolonged trek, so you can take my request off the list. If I get bogged down during the prime season, I'll put out a request again.
A big thank you to you and everyone else who helped!
