I would like to request please that my father John be added to this list for the purpose of improvement to his health and good medical care.
His health situation is complex and not good. He's struggled with alcoholism for many years and has been in and out of hospital several times due to issues this has caused him.
The doctors are now telling us he seems to have developed an unfortunately inoperable "aortic dissection" (possibly as a cause of recent surgery) which they see as unfixable and likely fatal, though it's possible he could struggle on regardless. They've bluntly indicated that they're suprised he's still around despire this new internal injury.
Despite this grim sounding progonosis, he's a strong character, and I would be sincerely thankful for prayers for healing, for prolongation, and for physical recovery as far as this is possible. Some time in as good health as is possible with his wife, with his kids, and everyone he knows, would be a blessing.
