You know, thanks for asking. I did some divinations to double-check what I've felt and the cursing is ongoing—it was perhaps just a lull, or maybe I mistook the protection we're receiving as an oasis. Perhaps best to leave as-is now.
(And yes, I know specifically who the hostile actor is in the situation, the nature of their curse, and why they're doing it. I don't envy the karma they're building up for themselves, and I fear that this baby is going to need rather a lot of spiritual protection in the years ahead...)
