I wanted to clarify what I said about the SOP and kids. If it turns out that the Shaw SOP is as safe for kids as visiting a church or shrine, which seems possible to me-- then that could also be a worthwhile mode of magical protection should the need arise. Because it's very easy to create a sphere for someone else rather than for oneself.
