Prayers like this should probably be accompanied by some concrete steps of your own in the same direction. I'm sure you're already taking some, but if you haven't, say, gone to someone for advice who you trust, or tried writing out your current issues in one place, or done a little bit of journaling on the issues, or opened to a random page in a holy text that inspires you, or done anything else that you've found has brought you clarity in the past, a little effort coming from yourself can help such prayers manifest results.
