It's really kind of you to take the time to think about what might help. I do use a journal and I've made a list of your suggestions there. Now I've asked for this help I want to make the best use of it so I am going to make sure I spend at least half an hour working on this each day this week whether it's through journalling, asking for advice, or just spending extra time praying, including praying for clarity, you're right about that.
The prayer for the day on the radio station this morning after I got up was so helpful, it spoke right to the heart of my difficulty, so I am feeling encouraged already. I am getting the sense that the challenge for me here is about getting my disciplines in place to support me to carry through on my commitments, as well as to continue looking for what can be changed to make sure I get the encouragement I need to do that work I've undertaken in good heart. Serenity prayer stuff I guess.
