Ecosophia Prayer List, Week of January 25

Here are all of the requests for prayer that have recently appeared at ecosophia.net and ecosophia.dreamwidth.org, as well as in the comments of the prayer list posts. Please feel free to add any or all of the requests to your own prayers.

If I missed anybody, or if you would like to add a prayer request for yourself or anyone who has given you consent (or for whom you hold power of consent) to the list, please feel free to leave a comment below.

If you are an anonymous commenter who has previously attempted to post a request to the prayer list, I just discovered recently that I'd had my blog settings set such that anonymous comments weren't able to post. My apologies to anyone who had problems. If you try again now, you should be able to get through.

If you are someone who is getting prayed for, status updates are appreciated but not required!

HOUSEKEEPING NOTE: I will occasionally, at my discretion, remove someone from the list. Of course do feel free to continue to pray on the behalf of people from previous weeks if you feel it appropriate. I removed the following entries from last week: Cookie the kitten (who I received word is doing well), Lloyd, and pleaidesdreaming. (If you'd like to go back on, simply make another request.) This will be the last week for the following entries unless the relevant parties request otherwise: Solarfed's mother Debbie, open_space's great aunt.

If there are any among you who might wish to join me in a bit of astrological timing, I pray each week for the health of all those with health problems on the list on the astrological hour of the Sun on Sundays, bearing in mind the Sun's rulerships of heart, brain, and vital energies. If this appeals to you, I invite you to join me.

PRAYERS FOR HEALTH RELATED ISSUES
•Anonymous who posted 1/24 3:50 UTC in a Magic Monday thread, who went into labor with her first child at that time
•An anonymous 2-year old boy, who underwent successful brain surgery on 1/18, and is now recuperating in hospital
•"MAH-Tuh" the cat, whose kidneys shut down, possibly due to ethylene glycol poisoning. She is doing better but could still use prayers.
•Mr. Crow's wife, suffering from back and joint pain
•Mr. Crow's father, who has been getting chest pains and insomnia
•SP in Connecticut, who had a successful surgery on January 19 to have a growth removed from her gastrointestinal tract, and is now recovering at home
•Cliff's friend Jessica, for the healthiest and most beneficial possible outcome given her upcoming February surgery to deal with spots that her doctors discovered on her reproductive organs.
•Jen Richardson's newborn daughter Joanna, for her optimum health and development (and you might wish Jen well on her quest to figure out how to get Joanna to breastfeed).
•open_space's great aunt, who was just taken to the hospital with a low hemoglobin count. Update: condition stable, could still use prayers.
•Ottergirl/Valerie's husband Trevor, for healing and good fortune regarding his current hospital stay, for viral pneumonia, a dislocated shoulder, two broken bones, and a Covid positive status which prevents Valerie from seeing him. (Update: He's now recuperating at home)
•Brother Kornhoer's son, that his ankle be healed
•Solarfed's mother Debbie, that she find relief from the shoulder pain, good sleep, and overall healing from whatever is causing her the pain
•Cedar, a 7 year old boy who has been having problems with health and liver, potentially related to his Covid vaccination (goes in for testing on 1/30)
•Kristina, who has ALS, for her healing, for amelioration of her difficulties, and for success at the inner work she still wishes to do in this life
•sdi's pregnant wife and unborn child, for continued healthy recovery from a serious flu and hospital stay, and spiritual protection from the suspected cause (latest update)
•Honey Badger, for healing, for keeping his kidney in good shape, and for good luck with getting a donor kidney while remaining unvaxxed (latest update here and here)
•Quin’s father Bob, for arrhythmia (possible vaccine injury)
•Tunesmyth, for help with healing the swollen infection in his right leg, as well as the atopy which led to it

OTHER PRAYERS
•Crimson Flaming Eel, who seeks spiritual guidance, as well as the strength and courage to successfully grapple with their most pressing problems and get through a most difficult time.
•"Mother and Me", for healing, protection, and aid in determining life direction for both mother and offspring.

Tunesmyth, although there shouldn’t be a sense of timing-hierarchy with the way the list proceeds in reverse chronological order, there is. Please, since your request is new, consider putting it toward the top so it doesn’t “fall off the bottom” of peoples’ awareness.

Just wanted to say thank you for doing this Tunesmyth, it's a lovely idea, and seems to have already helped several people.

Also - I'm in a different time zone to JMG, so missed the chance to reply to temporaryreality on the Magic Monday thread, but I wanted to say thank you for your concern, and to reply regarding your question: generally, yes, massage helps my wife, but only when her joints aren't already very painful! If they are, it unfortunately becomes agony to touch anywhere near them (it's a genetic condition which sometimes gets better or worse - currently it's in a "much worse" phase). I will check out the book you mentioned though, it sounds interesting.

I’m very grateful to Tunesmyth for putting her on the list and for creating such a forum as this. I’m praying that the swollen infection in your right leg heals quickly.

Thank you for providing this space. I'm requesting prayers for my mother and me. A lifetime of trauma has taken a toll on our emotional and physical well-being, and I'd appreciate prayers for healing, protection, and life direction.

I revised my prayer a bit to make it more appropriate and performed it again yesterday about 1:00, giving thanks for those who have healed or found safe homes.

I see someone being shipped off to Poland! I have doubled down on my daily prayers for peace.

I promised a while back to share what I've done that seems to help with arrhythmia and the related syndrome. I'll post it on JMG's corona page with due warnings that I'm only telling old wives' tales.

Hi all, thanks so much for hosting and offering this. Prayers for a huge outpouring of divine grace for all those in need, and particularly for your healing, Tunesmyth. I hope this community activity can become a place where divine grace pours out in massive quantities.

Please could I be added to the list just for one week? I need spiritual help. I have been following a spiritual path but things are very difficult me personally right now and I am struggling to get a sense of true north and good guidance. I used to be involved in a church but that isn't something I have at present. My sense of the spiritual world has shifted a lot, I am hoping I can find a way to clarity again where I can benefit and learn from the divine grace. I am trying hard to get things sorted out but it's like I have just got to grips with the depth of the problems in my life so I am facing a lot of challenges. I am praying for strength and courage, and hoping that this is a time I can put to work what I have already learned and engage with the most pressing problems and find out how to draw on the divine help that is being offered to come through this time of challenge. I need to get things in place in my life that will help sustain me and continue to make the beneficial changes I need to make.
