Hello all and thank you for the prayers. I will having a double mastectomy on Wednesday March 8. Although I have some anxiety about this surgery, it has sent me into some deep introspection into exactly what makes a woman beautiful outside the standards society has programmed into us from birth.


I've spoken with several others who have had mascectomies and asked if breasts defined their perception of their gender. It has been a resounding no! The universe is giving me the gift of exploring and defining for myself the male and female life-force. How cool is that?
