Unfortunately my friend A died earlier today, after the life support was removed. I haven't gotten details from his wife, but I infer that the medical doctors saw no possibilities any more. The news was a bit of a shock for me, I didn't expect it to end so abruptly. Thanks for everybody who prayed for A.
I'm a bit in doubt about how to continue. Obviously the prayer in his current form is not suitable any more. Maybe it is possible to change it to a request for a good transition? I know his wife welcomes all prayers but haven't asked her about changing the prayer. I don't want to ask her now. If it is unwise to change the prayer, then I guess it's best to remove the request (with a lot of gratitude for everybody who prayed!)
