Mr. Beekeeper (John) had the cardioversion which stabilized his heart rate and then was in the hospital for five very boring days awaiting an MRI which was to determine whether or not he had viable (alive) heart muscle. Without that he would not be able to have surgery and would need treatment as a heart failure patient. The MRI was finally done on 3/20 and we got the good news on 3/21 that he does indeed have viable heart muscle and that his heart's pumping capacity improved from 15% to 34%. He is scheduled for bypass surgery on 3/28 and will be in the hospital for 5-7 days afterwards. He should be home in time for Easter, which seems fitting.
Mr. Beekeeper, a devout evangelical Christian, has asked me to thank every Ecosophian of all spiritual traditions for their prayers. He is deeply appreciative and is including all of you in his daily prayers, as am I.
