It's been a while since my last update! When my daughter was born, the doctors did an ultrasound on her heart and told us that we should get another one done in two months as it appeared that she had a heart defect, likely caused by all the medication my wife was on during her ICU stay in December. Besides a few minor issues early on, the baby's been healthy with no indication of problems, and we just returned from the pediatrician, who said her pulse and heartbeat all seem normal. He's getting us a referral for the other ultrasound, just to be sure.
Normally I don't put much trust in doctors—my health is a wreck due to them!—but my divinations have been consistent on seeing the process through, and so we are.
We're still under heavy cursing, and we're navigating it the best we can. Personally, I'm exhausted, though I'm taking steps to reduce my responsibilities so I can keep up. My wife has regained her health and strength and the children are doing great. We continue to be very thankful for your prayers.
