Reiki takes far more time to perform than healing hands. I believe it operates at an etheric level rather than a spiritual level. That is just fine, but possibly misses the “prayer” designation. Lots of people charge money for Reiki, others do not. It’s kind of the Wild West out there. I do freebies for friends and family, but mostly use it on myself. As JMG might well say, your mileage may vary.
That said, if I put my name on a prayer list and someone sent me Reiki, I would be delighted.
I’m just trying to follow the community rules, and expect those to evolve as this community itself does.
