Interesting. I think that it would be to the benefit to the (smallish?) group of MOE practitioners to discuss these issues more directly together. I am happy to do my part to help facilitate through the existing prayer list or perhaps even otherwise once an some sort of consensus is reached about what is necessary or desired in bringing healers and those needing healing together, and to what extent. Valerie's point about about how requiring appointments and feedback changes the nature of the work into "treatment" in a way that probably makes regular free donation of the work untenable for many is well taken. Given that I have trouble simply finding time in my week sometimes for simple prayer, I certainly understand this! It could be that there is a solution that accounts for both possibilities. The first stage is probably discussion, though.
