Oof, that's such a sad thing to hear about. I'll add it to the list right now. In situations like this it is possibly somewhat invasive to ask for regular updates. May I propose, for now, adding their prayer to the list until the end of the year? At that point I'll leave it to you as to whether to ask them if they'd like prayers to continue on their behalf or not.

Also, if you deem it appropriate to ask about, it would please me to pray on Darragh's parents' behalf as well, if it is possible to obtain their consent in a way that isn't too awkward or insensitive.
