Also, if I missed anybody, or if you would like to add a prayer request for yourself or anyone who has given you consent (or for whom you hold power of consent) to the list, please feel free to leave a comment below.

-sdi's pregnant wife and unborn child, for healing from a bad flu that has left her unable to eat, and spiritual protection from the suspected cause

-Jean Luc, for a matter involving his family's business
-pleiadesdreaming, for positive and protective energies for his family, who may be under magical attack
-Griffin, for dental repair and material benefit to his family

-Slink's friend the Navy Seal, for healing, good luck with getting a donor kidney, while remaining unvaxxed in the process

If there are any among you who might wish to join me in a bit of astrological timing, I pray each week for the health of all those with health problems on the list on the astrological hour of the Sun on Sundays, bearing in mind the Sun's rulerships of heart, brain, and vital energies. Thank you, tunesmyth and everyone who has been praying for us. I meant to update on Magic Monday, but these last days have been so hectic—and I'm still recovering from the flu myself!—that I haven't had any time.

An update: my wife took a very bad turn on Sunday night (in fact about half an hour after I posted prayer requests), and we brought her to the hospital to get checked. Her flu turned into pneumonia and she had lost a lot of weight, so they took her to the ICU in a hospital several hours away. She is recovering well and looks much better, and the baby is doing OK, but she's still pretty low on nutritional levels. Visiting is difficult for us, since she is so far away and since I am only barely well myself, and it's been emotionally challenging. The doctors and nurses are being pretty closed-lipped with me and not giving me much information, so I don't know how long she'll be there, or in the ICU, or how much any of this is going to cost, but we're taking it day-by-day. My wife reports seeing angels around her, and when I was there I could certainly feel their presence, so the prayers are having good effect and I thank those of you who have been praying for her and continue to.

I'll continue updating here, as I have a moment.

My wife continues to recover and is still in the hospital, but no longer in the ICU. Her pneumonia progressed into a blood infection, but evidently the infection is not so severe that she can't come home, but she'll need to be on antibiotics for a few weeks. The baby somehow kept her weight through all of this and is doing fine, but seems to be showing some signs of heart trouble (which my divinations confirm will be trouble later on, but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it).

She is expected to be discharged on Tuesday—they say she's healthy enough to be discharged tomorrow, but the hospital lacks staff to discharge her due to the holiday. We've been visiting as we've been able. I'm personally very spent—it's been a difficult month capping a difficult year—but there are angels all around—my wife has stories of this from the last week that I find enchanting—and I'm very grateful for the prayers you all have been sending our way. Thank you!

Thanks for the update, SDI. I'm really glad to hear that things seem to be progressing positively. What a hard Christmas! If I may, I'll add your baby's heart troubles as a separate prayer item on my Sunday heart prayers going forward.
