Re: Japan's Earthquakes

Quin, Shigeru is completely non-spiritual. Recently, I note he has been hindering my own social and religious involvement locally. It is a drag.

I'll keep you updated on my plans. At this point I am hopeful that Shinobu will consider a five-day break for a good cause doable. We always loved travel. Unless things go really badly for Shigeru, I at least will go.

Please note, however, Kotohira Honkyo is not letting us stay at the Koshukai quarters. I stay in the car, because there are no places without Wi-Fi. You will need to book a room, or just a bring a tent. If I'm alone, I'll do that, because there is a really nice picnic/campground on the back of the mountain.
We changed our clothes for the procession at the Koshukai quarters last year and probably will again this year, and we will meet everyone else who is participating there, but there won't be any chance to hold anything like a practice session. We always perform the Oharae Kotoba Sojo in the hall upon arrival as a formality, but that is the extent of it.

There is a good chance that some of the Asakawa Kompira people (Tokyo) will be there, and I think they are our best chance for organizing a mini-Koshukai in Tokyo later this year or early next. Everyone else is so old and out of practice, and they all took the vixens. When we saw Morita-san last year, he was having difficulty walking. We warned him about any further vixens.
