* * * This week I would like to bring special attention to the following prayer requests.

May Hal Freeman's daughter Marina recover from the walking pneumonia she has just contracted.

May Inna's (from Sunnyvale CA, pronounced "EEna")'s surgery cure her from her skin cancer. May she be restored to full health.

May Rebecca's new job position, the start date of which keeps being rescheduled, indeed be hers, and commence as soon as possible; may it fill her and her family's needs, and may the situation be pleasant and free of strife.

May Divine help be granted to newlywed Merlin (TemporaryReality's daughter), that she be guided to beneficial information and good decisions that lead to perfect health. May the lump in her breast resolve rapidly with no issues.

May Leonardo Johann from Bremen in Germany, who was born prematurely two months early, come home safe and sound.

May all living things who have suffered as a consequence of Hurricanes Helene and Milton be blessed, comforted, and healed.

May Kevin, his sister Cynthia, and their elderly mother Dianne have a positive change in their fortunes which allows them to find affordable housing and a better life.

May Tyler's partner Monika and newborn baby Isabella both be blessed with good health.

May The Dilettante Polymath's eye heal and vision return quickly and permanantly, and may both his retinas stay attached.

May Giulia (Julia) in the Eastern suburbs of Cleveland Ohio be healed of recurring seizures and paralysis of her left side and other neurological problems associated with a cyst on the right side of her brain and with surgery to treat it.

May Corey Benton, whose throat tumor has grown around an artery and won't be treated surgically, be healed of throat cancer.

May Kyle's friend Amanda, who though in her early thirties is undergoing various difficult treatments for brain cancer, make a full recovery; and may her body and spirit heal with grace.

Lp9's hometown, East Palestine, Ohio, for the safety and welfare of their people, animals and all living beings in and around East Palestine, and to improve the natural environment there to the benefit of all.

•May Falling Tree Woman's son's girlfriend's mother Bridget in Devon UK, who is now in a rehab facility following a life-threatening fall from a horse some months ago, be blessed and healed and returned to full health. (9/30)

May she quickly regain her strength and independence and make a full recovery with a minimum of medical intervention and the associated adverse effects. •May Frank Rudolf Hartman of Altadena California (picture), whose health has thankfully been improving, be completely cured of the lymphoma that is afflicting him, and may he return to full health. (8/5)

•May Brother Kornhoer's son's sleep apnea and associated kidney issues be resolved in a way that benefits all involved, as soon as possible. (7/29)

•May Heather's brother in law, Patrick, who is dying of cancer and has dementia, go gentle into that good light. And may his wife Maggie, who is ill herself, find the strength and peace she needs for her situation. (Update on Patrick's condition here)

•May young Azalea Troung of California, who recently had a life threatening reaction to the initial antibiotic applied for a finger bone infection, resolve her reaction without lasting issue; may the infection be completely cleared from her body; and may her family, including those physically separated from her, be strengthened against fear and dread. •May Just Another Green Rage Monster, his mother, and his Kiddo be blessed and healed as they deal with the loss of Monster's father. (7/18)

•May Deathcap's friend Mike, who underwent a 5 week course of radiation treatment after a nearly fatal surgery for a malignant tumor on his leg, have been healed of his cancer and return to full health quickly and as completely as possible. (3/11)

For Danny and Mary, for Darragh's brother Daniel, for Darragh's surviving family as a whole, may all of their hearts heal and mend, may all of their sorrows find comfort, and may all find peace in the face of their shared and tragic loss of Darragh. •May Ms. Krieger's hometown of Norwalk, Connecticut recover quickly and fully from the gasoline tanker fire that destroyed an overpass and shut down Interstate 95 on May 2. May the anger and fire that has made driving in the area so fraught cool down in a way that benefits all beings. May all people, animals, and other beings around the highway, the adjacent river and the harbor be protected and blessed, and may the natural environment improve to the benefit of all. My husband's feet have improved. Thanks to your prayers.

I would like to ask for prayers for my son who is trying to get SSI/DI. He has been refused since they say he can find work. Problem is that his mental illnesses (yes plural) prevent him from keeping a job. I would like him to receive SSI/DI if possible. We are trying to find a lawyer and am seeking help.

Hello NeptunesDolphins, I'm very glad to hear that your husband's feet have improved! I was starting to get a little worried, as we hadn't heard from you for a bit.

Re: the request for your son, how is "May NeptunesDolphins's son succeed in receiving SSI/DI benefits, and get the help, legal or otherwise, to attain it"?

Before putting something up like that, I just want to double check-- and I apologize if this is something which you considered long ago and discarded as an option-- would it be pointless to pray for your son to be able to learn whatever necessary that might allow him to keep a job for any suitable length of time?

Actually, we did consider keeping him in jobs. He has had a spotty job history, with the same thing happening in each job. His last job was at Goodwill for five years. They and he tried to keep working, except his anxiety got so bad, he had to quit. So that is the problem - generalized anxiety disorder and severe depression combined with schezo-affective disorder.

Thanks for asking. So SSI/DI is what he needs.
