Here are all of the requests for prayer that have recently appeared at ecosophia.net and ecosophia.dreamwidth.org, as well as in the comments of the prayer list posts. Please feel free to add any or all of the requests to your own prayers.
Right now, I'd like to bring special attention to sdi's prayer request, as his wife has gone into labor and their child is expected any time now!
UPDATE 2: With a heart defect, unfortunately, but doctors say the problem *may* heal on its own. Prayers for baby's healing and protection shall continue.

•Praesepe, for help overcoming her Stage 2 metastastic breast cancer, and for the most beneficial outcome to her upcoming surgery and radiation treatment.
•Jung Lee, for help with their complex health issues, and for bolstering inner strength as lately they've felt close to their breaking point.
•Andrei Raevsky, for help with his health issues and lack of energy.
•sdi's wife and child, as they are currently in the labor process. Please pray for safe birth, spiritual protection (as apparently someone is wishing them ill), and that the doctors and nurses involved will work with them and respect their concerns. (Original request was here.)
•Pierre's wife Julie, for healing and vitalization.
•Josh, for his health and the healing of some difficult emotional wounds.
•Anonymous who posted 1/24 3:50 UTC in a Magic Monday thread, who went into labor with her first child at that time, for the welfare of both mother and child.
•An anonymous 2-year old boy, who underwent successful brain surgery on 1/18, and is now recuperating in hospital
•Mr. Crow's wife, suffering from back and joint pain
•Mr. Crow's father, who has been getting chest pains and insomnia
•Cliff's friend Jessica, for healing a surgery to check the spots on her reproductive organs, which seems to have gone swimmingly, and revealed no cancers.
•Jen Richardson's newborn daughter Joanna, for her optimum health and development (and you might wish Jen well on her quest to figure out how to get Joanna to breastfeed).
•open_space's great aunt, who was previously taken to the hospital with a low hemoglobin count. Her condition has stabilized, but she could still use prayers.
•Ottergirl/Valerie's husband Trevor, for healing and good fortune regarding his recovery from viral pneumonia, a dislocated shoulder, two broken bones, and Covid. (Update: He's now come home from the hospital and is recuperating at home)
•Brother Kornhoer's son, that his ankle be healed
•Solarfed's mother Debbie, that she find relief from the shoulder pain, good sleep, and overall healing from whatever is causing her the pain
•Cedar, a 7 year old boy who has been having problems with health and liver, potentially related to his Covid vaccination (goes in for testing on 1/30)
•Kristina, who has ALS, for her healing, for amelioration of her difficulties, and for success at the inner work she still wishes to do in this life
•Honey Badger, for healing, for keeping his kidney in good shape, and for good luck with getting a donor kidney while remaining unvaxxed (latest update here and here)
•Quin’s father Bob, for arrhythmia (possible vaccine injury)
OTHER PRAYERS
•David Klein, for spiritual protection from the intrusive thoughts and visions of demons that have been bothering him.
•Lp9's hometown, East Palestine Ohio, for the safety and welfare of their people and all living beings in the area. They were dealing with a tanker train derailment with hazardous chemicals and fire that posed enormous hazards to those nearby. It appears that the immediate danger is now over, but prayers are still appreciated while the situation continues to resolve. UPDATE: with mass animal deaths in the area and all the fish dying in a local river that had been previously designated as being safe to drink from in the aftermath, prayers would seem to still be warranted.
•JRuss, for opportunities to open up toward moving to a good new place to live.
•"Mother and Me", for healing, protection, and aid in determining life direction for both mother and offspring.
•RandomActsOfKarma's colleague's son, who is in the US Army and asks for prayers of protection, as he is being shipped out to Poland.
•Brother Kornhoer's ex, that she be led to a safe and affordable assisted living facility or adult group home

My wife is getting very close—lots of contractions. I would have expected for the baby to come today, but divination is saying, "no." Likely soon, though. She is still under heavy cursing—indeed, it seems as if the witch in question focuses on nothing else—and we've been having to fend off a lot of spiritual attacks. Prayers for her and the baby's spiritual protection continue to be very welcome.UPDATE: Born!!!
We were hoping to have a home birth, but that's not possible for various reasons. (In particular, divination strongly suggests complications with the baby that a hospital is necessary to deal with, but that they'll go well.) We've been badly burned by the medical system in the past, so prayers that the doctors and nurses will work with us and respect our concerns is also welcome.

This is all a bit of an experiment though. If you wish to enter the list again at any point, it's fine to do so.

Part of the mess of industrialization and then the Long Descent, I guess. I will prayer for your home community as well.
Tunesmyth - maybe leave the prayer request up for the next week and then remove? I don't want to keep taking up space. Most people, including my family, are having their houses professionally cleaned now and will be moving back in shortly.

Can we design protocols to measure and remediate the problems which can chug along on an appropriate tech base? Get simpler tests calibrated while we still have the complex labs? Since he hasn't been involved with our forum and since he may be politically controversial to some, I won't ask others here to help. He's got LOTS of friends in his own religion. I fear he may have been harmed by the vaccines since he lives in the US, believes in the technology, and shut down any discussion of the dangers on his own forum; and also because his appearance (moon-faced), ongoing "medical issues" and lack of energy which arose during the past year suggest it. Since my prayer specifically addresses this condition centrally (with an "and related" (no gotoku 乃如久) issues to cover the other requests), I felt it very important to add him, and he agrees to such.

I have no interest at all in maintaining a prayer list that turns away parties in need on the basis of belief or affiliation, whether political, spiritual, or scientific.

Date: 2023-02-18 11:44 pm (UTC)Recently, I noted the moderation rules at his site allow discussion of the political aspects of the pandemic, in fact, encourage it, so I wrote up an article on how the situation has played out in Japan, with the weeklies now running whole series of articles on vaccine-related deaths. I note he hasn't posted it yet, and I hope I didn't touch a nerve with him.
If they don't run it, I'll post it myself later on and link to it.
Daily, I also pray that efforts by people like him pay off and prevent a big war.

Date: 2023-02-20 03:43 pm (UTC)I too have struggled with poor health for a significant time in my life and due to the grace of God, I am now well and strong in mind and getting stronger in my body through diligent work. I wanted to witness to you that there may well be hope and a future for you as well. I believe there is reason to hope on the highest divine power and that we can dwell under the shadow of the wings of that infinite power.
I am praying for the divine mercy and grace to pour out into wherever it hurts most. May you be soaked through by the holy grace, may it heal every hurt, may the divine light shine brightly to lead and guide you and give you hope, comfort, and spiritual sustenance, and set you free from whatever troubles your soul. There is a power of goodness and grace that is not indifferent to your plight, alongside you in your difficulty. And lots of us praying for you too.
I am wondering if there is a piece of writing that speaks to your spirit, a poem or something that you could trying reading every morning or evening, as a regular thing?
Also going to mention JMG's Sphere of Protection https://ecosophia.dreamwidth.org/tag/sphere+of+protection which is a set of instructions for building a daily prayer practice, just thought I would mention it as I've been using that for nearly a year now and well, it's been quite a year let's say, and I am in a much better place in my soul now than a year ago.

Date: 2023-02-18 06:50 pm (UTC)This is my third time fighting cancer. In 2011, I had stage 4 non Hodgkins lymphoma. In 2017 the lymphoma returned in my eye. I beat it both times and hopefully will again.
Edgar Cayce believed that some cancers were malignant entities. What do you think of that theory?
And just to add a little extra into the mix....I'm inside 20 miles of east palestine.

As I am an animist, I subscribe to the worldview that everything in the universe large and small has at least some level of awareness, though of course the levels and layers of consciousness and ability to make willful actions in the world vary enormously. Thus the idea that some cancers are malignant entities in the sense that they might have some kind of independent guiding intelligence is not one that I would reject a priori. Certainly, regardless of the ultimate truth, which is very difficult for us to know, it seems to me that approaching one's cancer as an external malignant entity might be a very pragmatic viewpoint. For one thing it allows communication with it; and again, even if the effects of this communication were "only" placebo, placebos are extremely effective. (And of course I suspect it wouldn't only be that.)
Good luck with both your upcoming surgery, and with the whole crazy East Palestine situation.

The universe is giving me the gift of exploring and defining for myself the male and female life-force. How cool is that?
