Ecosophia Prayer List, Week of March 1

Here are all of the requests for prayer that have recently appeared at ecosophia.net and ecosophia.dreamwidth.org, as well as in the comments of the prayer list posts. Please feel free to add any or all of the requests to your own prayers.
If I missed anybody, or if you would like to add a prayer request for yourself or anyone who has given you consent (or for whom a relevant person holds power of consent) to the list, please feel free to leave a comment below.
SOME GUIDELINES
When making a prayer request, it helps out a lot if you can be specific about what you would like people to pray for on your behalf. Most helpful of all is if you can write the wording of your prayer request yourself, in the third person. See the prayer list below for many examples of how to word prayers. That said, if you don't do this, I will endeavor to craft the wording of your prayer in the spirit of your wishes.
If you are someone who has made a prayer request, status updates are appreciated but not required!
There is no limit to how long someone may remain on the list, but as a general rule (with exceptions at my own discretion), I will remove entries from the list after four weeks unless the prayer requester "re-ups" the prayer request.
There are no limitations to what you may request prayers for, provided that it is on behalf of yourself, a personal acquaintance, or a group or place to which you are personally connected; and that consent for prayers has been obtained from the relevant parties. Also, I want to make clear that there is no "purity test" for who is included on the list. Of course anyone may pick and choose who to pray for. My own philosophy is that regardless of our own faults and merits, we are all of us beings who can use a little divine help sometimes; it is up to the divine, and not us, to decide which prayers will be answered.
It probably goes without saying, but I will reject any prayer requests that fall outside what I consider to be the bounds of moral responsibility. (This has not yet happened.)
This week I would like to bring special attention to three prayer requests.
The first is a bit of an ***emergency request***. Boccaccio's friend and spiritual teacher "A" fell suddenly unconscious yesterday. He is in an artificially induced sleep right now and is the doctors are planning to attempt to wake him soon. With the permission of A's wife, Boccaccio asks for prayers for A's health and well being, and that A wakes up in the best possible state.
UPDATE: Unfortunately, A has passed away. Please consider praying for blessings to aid and ease in his transition to the other side.
The second is for Praesepe, for help overcoming her Stage 2 metastastic breast cancer, and for the most beneficial outcome to her upcoming surgery and radiation treatment (as well as for the preliminary surgeon's appointment she has today, 2/28).
The third is Lp9's request on behalf of their hometown, East Palestine Ohio, for the safety and welfare of their people and all living beings in the area. The details coming out are still caught in the fog of war, and various claims of catastrophe and non-catastrophe are flying about, but the reasonable possibility seems to exist that this is an environmental disaster on par with the worst America has ever seen. At any rate, it is clearly having a devastating impact on the local area, and prayers are certainly warranted.

If there are any among you who might wish to join me in a bit of astrological timing, I pray each week for the health of all those with health problems on the list on the astrological hour of the Sun on Sundays, bearing in mind the Sun's rulerships of heart, brain, and vital energies. If this appeals to you, I invite you to join me.

•Tamanous’s aunt, for effective treatment of and healing to her Myeloma.
•Grandswamperman's 3 year old son, for optimum health and development and healthy weight gain, as he is sufficiently underweight that doctors have now prescribed a feeding tube.
•1wanderer's partner, that she recover to the greatest extent possible from the neuropathic damage sustained as a result of successful cancer treatment last year, and that the cancer itself does not return. (Original request here.)

•Jung Lee, for help with the complex health issues which have kept them mostly bedridden for many years, and for bolstering inner strength as lately they've felt close to their breaking point.

•An anonymous 2-year old boy, who underwent successful brain surgery on 1/18, and is now recuperating in hospital
•Mr. Crow's wife, suffering from back and joint pain.
•Mr. Crow's father, who has been getting chest pains and insomnia.
•Cliff's friend Jessica, for healing a surgery to check the spots on her reproductive organs, which seems to have gone swimmingly, and revealed no cancers.
•Jen Richardson's newborn daughter Joanna, for her optimum health and development (and you might wish Jen well on her quest to figure out how to get Joanna to breastfeed).
•open_space's great aunt, who was previously taken to the hospital with a low hemoglobin count. Her condition has stabilized, but she could still use prayers.
•Ottergirl/Valerie's husband Trevor, for healing and good fortune regarding his recovery from viral pneumonia, a dislocated shoulder, two broken bones, and Covid. (Update: He's now come home from the hospital and is recuperating at home, and seems to be healing very well indeed.)
•Brother Kornhoer's son, that his ankle be healed
•Solarfed's mother Debbie, that she find relief from the shoulder pain, good sleep, and overall healing from whatever is causing her the pain
•Cedar, a 7 year old boy who has been having problems with health and liver, potentially related to his Covid vaccination. He was set to go for testing on 1/30; if Ellen should happen to see this, please free to update us on how Cedar is doing.
•Kristina, who has ALS, for her healing, for amelioration of her difficulties, and for success at the inner work she still wishes to do in this life
•Honey Badger, for healing, for keeping his kidney in good shape, and for good luck with getting a donor kidney while remaining unvaxxed (latest update here and here)
•Quin’s father Bob, for arrhythmia (possible vaccine injury)
OTHER PRAYERS
•IVN 66's sister, for good housing fortune, as her housing plans have abruptly fallen through and now finds herself in need of a new apartment in something of a hurry.
•cs2 asks for prayers of thanks to be given to the divine for aiding him in getting a full time union job after a long search.
•Quin's youngest daughter, for her to be blessed, protected and healed in the manner most ideally keeping with her nature and that of the deity you pray to, and in a way that harms none. See link for a note about this wording. (Also, update here.)
•David Klein, for spiritual protection from the intrusive thoughts and visions of demons that have been bothering him. (Update: things seem to be improving.)
•Lp9's hometown, East Palestine Ohio, for the safety and welfare of their people and all living beings in the area. The situation is still developing, but the reasonable possibility exists that this is an environmental disaster on par with the worst America has ever seen.
•JRuss, for opportunities to open up toward moving to a good new place to live.
•RandomActsOfKarma's colleague's son, who is in the US Army and asks for prayers of protection, as he is being shipped out to Poland.
•Brother Kornhoer's ex, that she be led to a safe and affordable assisted living facility or adult group home.
My daughter
Date: 2023-03-04 02:35 pm (UTC)Normally she becomes mostly listless, but she had a lot more energy than normal. She was going around pulling herself up on various toys and furniture to attempt to stand. She's two, with slow physical development, so this is hard for her even when both sides of her body work.
Not only that, but she tends to become a real "mama's girl" during episodes, requiring constant attention from her mother. But today, she consented to spending a lot of time with me, and even gestured that she wanted to go with me when I went out shopping-- so I took her with me on a bike ride to the hardware store and back, and she seemed to enjoy it. Not only this was the first time she ever wanted, let alone consented, to go on a journey with me and without mommy while having a paralysis episode... this was her first time doing so ever, episode or not! A real big step!
Then, in late afternoon, she started to come out of the episode and started showing strength again in her paralyzed limbs... which means that she was coming out of an episode in literally the fastest time she ever has before.
None of this is of course rock solid proof that the prayers are having an effect. It could all just be regular development milestones that "just happen" to coincide with when the group started praying on her behalf. But these are all extremely positive signs. Thanks to all who have been praying on my daughter's behalf.

Date: 2023-03-05 12:18 am (UTC)I have printed out today's list. I am not expecting to hear anything at all from Andrei Raevsky. His intention appears simply to disappear from the public eye for a long time. A think a couple of weeks on the prayer list are enough for now. If I get more news from him, I'll relay it. He needs a lot of rest, and that's what I hope he will get, and his family has been urging that for him.
My thanks to anyone who has added him to their prayers. I will continue praying for him, because I consider him a friend.
