Here are all of the requests for prayer that have recently appeared at ecosophia.net and ecosophia.dreamwidth.org, as well as in the comments of the prayer list posts. Please feel free to add any or all of the requests to your own prayers.
If I missed anybody, or if you would like to add a prayer request for yourself or anyone who has given you consent (or for whom a relevant person holds power of consent) to the list, please feel free to leave a comment below.
SOME GUIDELINES
When making a prayer request, it helps out a lot if you can be specific about what you would like people to pray for on your behalf. Most helpful of all is if you can write the wording of your prayer request yourself, in the third person. See the prayer list below for many examples of how to word prayers. That said, if you don't do this, I will endeavor to craft the wording of your prayer in the spirit of your wishes.
If you are someone who has made a prayer request, status updates are appreciated but not required!
There is no limit to how long someone may remain on the list, but as a general rule (with exceptions at my own discretion), I will remove entries from the list after four weeks unless the prayer requester "re-ups" the prayer request.
There are no limitations to what you may request prayers for, provided that it is on behalf of yourself, a personal acquaintance, or a group or place to which you are personally connected; and that consent for prayers has been obtained from the relevant parties. Also, I want to make clear that there is no "purity test" for who is included on the list. Of course anyone may pick and choose who to pray for. My own philosophy is that regardless of our own faults and merits, we are all of us beings who can use a little divine help sometimes; it is up to the divine, and not us, to decide which prayers will be answered.
It probably goes without saying, but I will reject any prayer requests that fall outside what I consider to be the bounds of moral responsibility. (This has not yet happened.)

This week I would like to bring special attention to a few prayer requests.
Patricia Mathew's friend Al (Alison Kulp) is in the hospital with a nasty life-threatening MRSA infection; please play for her to be blessed, protected, and completely healed as soon as is possible.
For Det and his recently deceased friend, that the divine grant them both spiritual protection, blessing and ease on their respective journeys.
2 year old ES, John (Mr. Beekeeper, Beekeeper in Vermont's husband), and Praesepe all recently had lifesaving surgeries and are recuperating; for them to be blessed, protected, and healed to the utmost that is possible.
Luke Dodson's friend B, who is undergoing treatment for breast cancer, and is still in serious condition though she's already had surgery; for blessing, protection, healing, and a full return to health.
Lp9's request on behalf of their hometown, East Palestine Ohio, for the safety and welfare of their people and all living beings in the area. The details coming out are still caught in the fog of war (Lp9 gives a short update here, and says "things are a bit... murky"), and various claims of catastrophe and non-catastrophe are flying about, but the reasonable possibility seems to exist that this is an environmental disaster on par with the worst America has ever seen. At any rate, it is clearly having a devastating impact on the local area, and prayers are certainly warranted.

•sdi's newborn baby, for healing of the baby's heart defect, blessings, and for spiritual protection, particularly from a specific person wishing their family ill. (Original request was here.)
•sdi and his wife, likewise for spiritual protection from the same source, and for healing for SDI, whose health has been affected by the curses.
•Patricia Mathew's friend Al (Alison Kulp) is in the hospital with a nasty life-threatening MRSA infection; please play for her to be blessed, protected, and completely healed as soon as is possible.
•Luke Dodson's friend A, whose chronic health conditions, including electrosensitivity and gut biome issues, are flaring up quite badly right now; for blessings, ease of their discomfort, and healing.
•Nicky's husband's Uncle D, who is transitioning from this world from cancer and is currently in hospice; for blessings, comfort and ease, both now and through their transition.
•Nicky's husband's Uncle D's wife, who is mentally and physically exhausted; for blessings, strength and energy through this trying time.
•Nicole, for healing and amelioriation of her indigestion and heartburn related to her ancestral healing work.
•Jon, Punky Little Kid's nephew, who just was diagnosed with ALS, for comfort and well being.
•John (Mr. Beekeeper, Beekeeper in Vermont's husband) has come home after a successful quadruple bypass surgery; he is still a bit fragile and will need cardiac rehab but is coming along well; that he continue to be blessed, protected, and healed to the utmost that is possible.
•2 year old ES, who was having upwards of 60+ seizures a day, had brain surgery on Tuesday 3/21; that he be blessed, protected, and healed completely.
•Luke Dodson's friend B, who is undergoing treatment for breast cancer, and is still in serious condition though she's already had surgery; for blessing, protection, healing, and a full return to health.
•Brother Kornhoer's son is suffering from sleep apnea and empty nose syndrome, which keep him from getting restful sleep; for both conditions to be healed, to allow him to get restorative sleep.
•Brother Kornhoer's daughter, for her to have strength to deal with depression, and for relief from it.
•Mike O'Mara, a former composer and music educator who was terribly injured by the Covid vaccine and now has an excruciating neurodegenerative order; that he healed and soothed to the greatest extent possible. (He keeps a Twitter account here.)
•Sylvia the cat (temporaryreality's friend's cat), who has just been diagnosed with bone cancer in her shoulder and will soon have surgery; praying that the surgery will be successful, and for Sylvia's healing and health. (Updates and photos can be found here.)
•May Jedi the cat be healed, in the manner most ideally keeping with both his nature and that of the deities prayed to, and in a way that harms none. Update: he is doing better, though still recovering from lifesaving surgery.
•Praesepe, who got a double mastectomy on March 8th. No update from Praesepe yet, and I don't expect to hear from her for a little while, but in this time of great transformation for her, please continue to pray for her to overcome her cancer; for blessings and her protection, and for her healing. •open_space's great aunt passed away yesterday. He asks for prayers for blessings to aid and ease in her journey. (Note: he has two great aunts, and this is not the same one who is already on the list below.)
•Boccaccio's friend and spiritual teacher A, who passed away suddenly, for blessings to aid and ease in his transition to the other side. (Original request here.)
•Tamanous’s aunt, for effective treatment of and healing to her Myeloma.
•Grandswamperman's 3 year old son, for optimum health and development and healthy weight gain, as he is sufficiently underweight that doctors have now prescribed a feeding tube.
•1wanderer's partner, that she recover to the greatest extent possible from the neuropathic damage sustained as a result of successful cancer treatment last year, and that the cancer itself does not return. (Original request here).
•Jung Lee, for help with the complex health issues which have kept them mostly bedridden for many years, and for bolstering inner strength as lately they've felt close to their breaking point.
•Andrei Raevsky, for help with his health issues and lack of energy.
•Pierre's wife Julie, for healing and vitalization.
•Josh, for his health and the healing of some difficult emotional wounds.
•Anonymous who posted 1/24 3:50 UTC in a Magic Monday thread, who went into labor with her first child at that time, for the welfare of both mother and son. (Update here.)

•Mr. Crow's father, who has been getting chest pains and insomnia.
•Cliff's friend Jessica, for healing a surgery to check the spots on her reproductive organs, which seems to have gone swimmingly, and revealed no cancers.
•Jen Richardson's newborn daughter Joanna, for her optimum health and development (and you might wish Jen well on her quest to figure out how to get Joanna to breastfeed).
•open_space's great aunt, who was previously taken to the hospital with a low hemoglobin count. Her condition has stabilized, but she could still use prayers.
•Ottergirl/Valerie's husband Trevor, for healing and good fortune regarding his recovery from viral pneumonia, a dislocated shoulder, two broken bones, and Covid. (Update: He's now come home from the hospital and is recuperating at home, and seems to be healing very well indeed.)
•Solarfed's mother Debbie, that she find relief from the shoulder pain, good sleep, and overall healing from whatever is causing her the pain
•Cedar, a 7 year old boy who has been having problems with health and liver, potentially related to his Covid vaccination. He was set to go for testing on 1/30; if Ellen should happen to see this, please free to update us on how Cedar is doing.
•Kristina, who has ALS, for her healing, for amelioration of her difficulties, and for success at the inner work she still wishes to do in this life
•Honey Badger, for healing, for keeping his kidney in good shape, and for good luck with getting a donor kidney while remaining unvaxxed (latest update here and here)
•Quin’s father Bob, for arrhythmia (possible vaccine injury)

•KN, that their family can find a safe, stable home to live in, that they have the discernment to recognize the right home, and that they are easily able to buy it.
•Bard, who has concerns that they prefer to keep private, for blessings and protection that help them in whatever way they most need help.

•Brother Kornhoer's close friend, who is dealing with a daughter going through an unholy trinity of mental imbalance, drug use, and an exploitative, sleazy boyfriend; he requests prayers for his friend, for strength and guidance on how to best help her daughter.
•"Finished Saturn Return in the 10th" Anonymous, whose self-made business seems on the verge of collapse, for blessings, strength, and wellbeing in this personally trying time.
•Andrew Skeen, for him to meet a "special someone" who is a wonderful match for him, with whom he can share a productive and loving relationship.
•IVN 66's sister, for good housing fortune, as her housing plans have abruptly fallen through and now finds herself in need of a new apartment in something of a hurry.

•David Klein, for spiritual protection from the intrusive thoughts and visions of demons that have been bothering him. (Update: things seem to be improving.)

I am happy to report that A has recovered from his complicated bacterial infection. I am sure that prayers and alternative medicine have done the trick.

I'd also like to request prayers for Nicole; she has currently been doing some ancestral healing work which has activated some indigestion and heartburn, related to generational trauma patterns of deprivation and neglect.

For now I'll put up prayer requests, but do feel free to request changes to my wording, as I don't know you or your acquaintance's situation as well as you do. This will be the form I put above for now:

Date: 2023-04-09 07:34 am (UTC)We just got word from Kompira: this year's koshukai will be on-line like last year's. They'll have the course ready some time in the fall after the Taisai. Have they been keeping in contact with you? I might just jump in the jalopy and go for a spin out your way this year. My electrosensitivity has improved to the point where I can start considering this again.
I get bouts of it off and on, as it seems to take the body a long time to release sequestered oxalates, and every time they are mobilized they affect the nerves.
How is your father doing? And how is your girl?

I did get the letter from Kompira, though perhaps a little later than you as I hadn't gotten around to informing them of my new address yet. I'm so happy that your electrosensitivity has gotten so much better, and I would be delighted to have you over whenever it's convenient!
We're actually considering the possibility that my daughter's condition might be being made worse by electrosensitivity-- energy workers have noted that it seems that the normal energies centered at a person's head seem to be dispersed in a much larger sphere than normal, so we think she may be making contact with everything around her more easily, including electrical offenders like Wi-fi and smartphones. We're actually getting an old fashioned cable internet installed into the house, which will go only into my music room, and the wi-fi in the house, when we choose to turn it on, will only have its source from a small transmitter hooked up to that line. May I ask you, which affects you more strongly, 3G from smartphones or wi-fi? I know that the dread 5G is the devil's work and the next time I get a new phone I'll try to choose one that allows me to set it to 3G, if such a thing is possible. Given our current workflow in the house, my wife orders organic groceries by mail regularly and, since it's in the midst of childcare, she does it with one hand on her phone. I guess if necessary we'll find a way to adjust our system...
My father found a medication that works to keep him mobile that doesn't have incapacitating side effects (like the first one he tried), and he's doing yoga again. He fell in love with yoga in retirement and even trained for a certification and became a part time yoga instructor-- but not really since Covid, since he mainly taught in nursing homes. and certainly not since the arrhythmia started. So he's active again, and is somewhat close to his old self in appearance, but doesn't have quite the same vitality. Divination suggests it's best to keep him on the prayer list, so I do.
My daughter has been having a tough time of it lately. I think part of it is that she's consciously realizing more and more that she can't move when the paralysis times come. And unfortunately, very often when she's feeling so stressed, one of her three-day paralysis periods on one side will suddenly become another three-day period on the other side. Not only that, but she's no longer accepting being carried around on our backs any more during these periods, so when I'm not around (and I work most days) it's a bit difficult for my wife to do anything at all except care for her at these times. One very good development, though, is that we've discovered, close enough for us to go, a wonderful-seeming nursery/kindergarten for special needs kids that bases its methods on Rudolph Steiner's ideas both about education and special needs care. There's only six spots in the school, but we've managed to get a place. Let's put it this way: every day begins with parents doing a bit of biodynamic farming with the children in front of the school. Then parents part ways as the children have their feet submerged in hot water. It sounds heavenly! I think that's going to be very good for my daughter, and will finally give my wife a break-- or just the ability to do a little bit of housework-- as she's been really imprisoned by this situation for the last couple of years, as I suppose is likely often the case at first with many special needs children.
My biggest quandary right now is medical. We've now gotten the official pronouncement of Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood, and so the doctor wants to give medication, which is taken I forget how many times daily, which is supposed to help to suppress the paralytic symptoms. "Side effects are rare" but they certainly exist, and as we all know, sometimes there are side effects which aren't so obvious, if only in changing one's perceptions in an unnatural way. My wife and I are generally against medical intervention, especially if it involves being hooked to a medication more or less indefinitely. The reason I am considering it is that not only it has the possibility of sparing my daughter a lot of hardship; it might also allow her to finally learn how to walk, at this pivotal time in her physical development, which has been heavily slowed due to her constant paralysis.
Anyway, that's the current situation, and I share it here both with you and anyone else who is reading.

Thank you for your update on your family. I do hope your wife will get a break. That must be terribly stressful. I agree that while watching for side-effects, it would be good to help your daughter learn to walk. If you need any help in EMF mitigation, e-mail me. Do you have a "trifield" meter? There are three frequency bands (and a fourth to be added for millimeter wave 5G) plus transients on electric lines (dirty electricity) that can impact health.

We're still under heavy cursing, and we're navigating it the best we can. Personally, I'm exhausted, though I'm taking steps to reduce my responsibilities so I can keep up. My wife has regained her health and strength and the children are doing great. We continue to be very thankful for your prayers.

Date: 2023-04-15 10:46 pm (UTC)When my daughter was born, she was quite premature, and so her heart wasn't fully developed and would stop beating occasionally, and we'd have to rub her chest to remind it, though there wasn't anything else wrong with it, otherwise. I had lots of circulatory system damage from pre-eclampsia. My stepdad was diagnosed with cancer while I was in the hospital on bed rest, and nobody could tell me because the stress would kill me, and he died shortly after we got out (he did get to hold the baby once, first, though).
One day a couple months later, as I was walking with the baby asleep in a wrap, and generally feeling miserable on a number of levels, I came upon an old woman harvesting hawthorn flower and leaves. She was dressed very oddly, though sometimes people here do. Sometimes, they are not people.
And I said that I saw that tree all the time, and wondered if the berries were edible - what was it used for?
She gave me a disconcertingly knowing, but very kindly, look, and said that a tea or tincture of all parts were used to cure broken hearts. My herbal medicine encyclopedia also told me that trials have shown teas and tinctures of the flowers and leaves to do just that (with a bunch of disclaimers about checking for interactions with other medicines), and also be a galactologue that increases healthy milk fat, as well, though no one has ever tested the berries on babies and lactating mothers, so only their fathers/husbands should probably take those.

Date: 2023-04-16 02:07 am (UTC)In all sincerity reading your story of the kind old lady by the hawthorn tree makes my day and I appreciate you sharing it tremendously. Your story makes me think of one that Matthew Wood shares in his first volume of Earthwise Herbal, pp. 212 -213:
"My friend Jennifer Tucker, an herbalist in State College, Pennsylavania, passed on a beautiful case history. A woman came with her four- or five-month-old baby for flower essences. The baby, she explained, had a too small aorta and either was going to die or need surgery, which it was unlikely to survive. She and her husband had chosen not to do the operation --- the flower essences were for her to accept the eventual death of the little child. She didn't want to get her hopes up, but Jennifer got her to give the baby hawthorn. At the next check-up the doctor exclaimed, 'What did you do to this baby?' The woman was frightened, but he quickly explained that the artery was now normal in size. Every once and a while, the mother brings the little bot to visit 'the herb lady.'"
Of course I share this story for it's numinous beauty, not as any sort of medical advice ;-)

Date: 2023-04-16 02:27 am (UTC)I actually know someone whose granddaughter has that condition, and they did have to keep getting surgeries to replace her aorta with a piece of her femoral artery. Needed a zipper in her chest because they were in there so frequently as she grew; whenever she started keeling over regularly, they knew they needed a replacement again. Just sent a text to see if they're still needing to do that, and suggesting hawthorn flower tincture has been "anecdotally shown to reduce the frequency of needing the surgery" ;-)

The short version is that I believe this person to be projecting their own fears and worries onto us, and then convincing themselves that these fears and worries are true, and so attack us (or, at least, the distorted phantasms of us that they have created) in order to prevent the things they fear and worry about. This would fit all the information I have but makes little sense: I can understand believing somebody else's lies (since you might not know any better), but why would you believe your own?

Date: 2023-04-17 12:54 am (UTC)I had something very similar happen to me before. The lady in question had reason to attack me, though. I'd inadvertently stolen the limelight from her. She proceeded to make her own life miserable. Her method of cursing was to call at exactly 4:44 a.m. I had at that time a spiritual entity that was protecting me, and deflected the curse. I slept straight through the phone call, but had a vivid dream of her, and a dragon attacking her, which I stopped. Subsequently this lady kept warning me that I was going to die, but of course nothing like that happened. Instead, she suffered from one tragedy after another, culminating with losing her house--12 miles from Fukushima. When I think of her I feel nothing but warm memories and a sense of pity.
I wonder if you could find a divine entity to protect you. I also recommend praying for the person, so that they can be freed from the illusions that are devastating them. I'll add these words to my prayer, if you would like.

I'm not sure I can go that far. I feel that in my own case it is justified for me to forgive them and pray for clarity for them, as they're attacking me and thus the question of consent is already breached; but I'm not certain if it's appropriate for me to ask others to do similarly as that may be going too far.

Date: 2023-04-18 07:07 am (UTC)I think the issue is one of consent. We don't have the cursing person's consent to pray on their behalf. Neither does SDI, and so from some points of view he still shouldn't pray for them; but he makes the quite reasonable seeming argument that because the cursing person is doing things to harm SDI and his family without their consent, then SDI has the right to return the favor in kind. We don't have any sort of relationship with the curser, so there is no way we could pray for them in a way that respects their consent.

Date: 2023-04-18 07:42 am (UTC)In my view, if someone willfully attacks you, you have the right to defend yourself (including retaliation in kind) up to the point where you are no longer in danger. Clarity on the nature of the situation is perhaps the simplest means to achieve this (since presumably they would not attack me if they understood that I am innocent), and has the side effects of bringing the person in question closer to divinity (since clarity is a property of the divine) and helping them to process their negative actions prior to the after-death state, where they can still do something about it (because I'm truly concerned for the karma they've heaped up regarding our relationship, of which this attack is a part).
But... clarity is by no means a unalloyed good! In particular, if one has done wrong, the understanding of it can bring a lot of pain; it also calls one to a greater depth responsibility. But despite that, clarity is something I wish for more of in my own life, and I think one can only request things of others that one is willing to take on oneself.
But since others don't have this specific relationship to the person in question, I don't think they have the right to retaliate; if I were to encourage it, I would become an attacker myself, and I don't want that karma.
(Prayers for protection not involving the attacker don't carry a sense of retaliation, and thereby don't carry the same burden.)
